Welcome to the Weather Station in Springbourne, Bournemouth, Dorset The station was originally set up in March 1996 using a Davis Weather Monitor II, at my previous home in Wimborne, Dorset, around 10 miles from its current location. The station moved to its current location in late 2000. I recently upgraded to a Davis Vantage Pro 2, as that is much more up-to-date and allows me to run more in the way of software.The website data is automatically updated using Weatherlink (Davis' own software) and a third-party package, Cumulus. Weatherlink has been used since I started the station, and I continue to use it as the data goes back to 1996. It provides the graphs for the past 30 days, and the Stripchart page for this site. Cumulus provides the rest.I also use another third-party piece of software called VirtualVP, which allows me to use more than one software package with the station console, and allows me to connect to it across a network. Jim Smith
